Jeffrey has a marvelous conversation with Christian de Quincey, Professor of Philosophy and Consciousness Studies at John F. Kennedy University, Dean of Consciousness Studies at University of Philosophical Research, founder of The Wisdom Academy and author of the award-winning Radical Nature: Rediscovering the Soul of Matter, and Radical Knowing: Understanding Consciousness through Relationship, and, with Willis Harman, The Scientific Exploration of Consciousness.

Christian’s newest novel, Deep Spirit: Lessons from the Noetic Code, is the center of the discussion today.

Deep Spirit is a marvelous adventure story that weaves consciousness into an exciting fast paced story much like The Celestine Prophecy did  15 years ago.

For more than 25 years, Christian has been exploring and writing about mind and cosmos, and guiding people through the mystery of consciousness. He is an international speaker on consciousness, cosmology, and spirituality at conferences and workshops in the United States and Europe and will be presenting a workshop at the upcoming International Conference on Science and Consciousness in Santa Fe on Consciousness: The Shadow and the Light – Seven steps to Greater Self-Awareness.

Christian holds a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and a masters degree in consciousness studies from John F. Kennedy University.

Before moving into academia, He was a professional journalist for national newspapers including The Irish Times, London’s Sunday Times, and the science journal Nature; and a marketing communications consultant for hi-tech companies.

As a teacher and writer, Christian is dedicated to making difficult issues simple and clear. His main focus is to find common ground between various world views.

We think you will really enjoy this conversation as we explore the ideas and intelligence of all life that is the inspiration for Christian’s writing and life mission and the important lessons that we as a human race must learn to embrace a healthful and balanced future for our planet.
