Healing Connections

Jeffrey has a lovely conversation with Jungian psychoanalytic psychotherapist, birth teacher and writer Benig Mauger.

Benig was a presenter at the recent International Conference on Science and Consciousness and we were able to get together after the conference to have lunch and a great conversation about her work and her new book: Love in A Time of Broken Heart – Healing from Within.

This book looks into what happens when love breaks down in relationships. In this engaging and passionate book, Benig writes about the universal search for love and what happens when love breaks down by drawing on her life experience and work as a therapist.

Through deep psychological and spiritual explorations of the inner and outer dynamics of adult love relationships, Love in a Time of Broken Heart outlines what it means to be human and to seek love. Incorporating fresh insights drawn from the weaving of psychological and spiritual truths and using the power of myth to amplify our human journey, this book offers a unique perspective on love, relationships and the healing of love wounds.

Benig is a pioneer in pre and perinatal psychology, and she travels internationally to teach, lecture and run workshops. She maintains a private practice in Ireland from where she lectures and writes extensively on modern living from a psychological and spiritual point of view, and with her background in psychology and childbirth education, she founded the Holistic Birth Centre in London in the 1980’s.

She also is a frequent speaker at National and International Congresses and her work has been published in Germany, Britain, the USA, and Ireland.

I think you will enjoy our conversation about these intensely personal and deep connections we all share in common as humans in the human experience.
